Myriam Huser is a Swiss-born bush pilot with her Canadian citizenship who has flown international missions that have taken her to rugged locations all over Africa and the Middle East. Her latest work has her fighting wildfires in Canada. In her memoir, They Called Me Sky Hunter, which is the Aviatrix Book Club discussion book for July 2022, she takes us on her incredible journey, with all of its joys and challenges, to pursue her dreams of flying and living her childhood fantasy, partially inspired by the book Out of Africa, by Karen Blixen.
