Life in the Logbook

Is it noisy when you’re flying supersonic? What was it like being in the first coed class at the United States Air Force Academy? How do you float weightless inside an airplane? Did you prefer flying for the Air Force or the commercial airlines? What was it like to refuel the SR-71? People often want to hear tales from my flying days, so I perused my 3000+ flights, gathering the best stories to share. In my Pilot’s Master Logbook I can find a flight by date, tail number and location. It struck me that when on the ground, I reference the Bible as God’s Logbook. I can find God’s voice by book, chapter and verse. I hope these Life in the Logbook yarns, paired with some of my favorite Bible verses, will provide inspiration to you through the experiences God provided me. All through my life, whether flying or on the ground, faith has kept me grounded, grace has let me fly and mercy has showered me with blessings.
