Latinas in Aviation: Maryland Edition

Latinas make up 1 of the 7 percent of women in Aviation.

With the success of the first edition, these powerful women created a story of Latinas in Aviation that has never existed before. Readers around the world experienced the perseverance that it took to create a foundation in an industry that barely involved women to begin with, let alone Latinas.

With this special edition of Latinas in Aviation, we direct our focus to the Latinas to the east of the US: Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. Once again, these ladies have shared their struggles and triumphs in the Aviation industry to continue to pave the way for the next generation of Latinas eager to take flight. Hear from retired veterans as well as new graduates, pilots as well as aviation aeronautical engineers, administrators, military and civilians, all with a unique passion for aviation and its impact on our world.
