Book Launch at Books & Books Coral Gables

I was proud to help plan and emcee the launch of BEYOND HAIKU: WOMEN PILOTS WRITE POETRY with author/curator, Miami native, and American Airlines check airman, Linda Pauwels. It was a beautiful evening with live music, refreshments, and art in a gorgeous venue hosted by @booksandbooks and @coralgablesmuseum. The attendance of over 85 people blew the bookstore away, and was a huge success. Thanks to Linda Pauwels for all of her hard work to bring this collection of poetry written by contemporary pilots and including some never-before-published poems by our pioneers to print. All of the proceeds support scholarships for women in aviation.
