This book, Bessie Coleman: Queen of the Skies, is a short biography of her life from her childhood in Texas, to her work in Chicago, to her training in France and Germany in flight schools, and finally to her career as an outstanding aerialist. It documents her featsr as a stund pilot, her desire to form a flight training school, and her legacy in aviation in breaking down racial barriers and the sterotypes of women.
